I create carefully curated, intentional gatherings for women — spaces to slow down, come home to yourself, and reconnect with what’s real. In a world that asks us to keep pushing, these circles and events are an invitation to pause, to be witnessed, and to remember that you don’t have to carry everything alone.
Some gatherings are entirely created and led by me; others are co-created with you and shaped around what you need. They can be small and intimate to allow genuine connections or lovingly crafted as bespoke rituals to mark life’s meaningful moments — from soulful hen celebrations to other life-affirming transitions. Rooted in the power of ritual and a gentle nod to earth-honouring, seasonal wisdom, each experience is held with warmth, depth, and clear boundaries. Come as you are — and if you’re dreaming something unique, get in touch and we can create it together.
Summer Solstice is now on sale.
Light of Litha: Fire to First Light
* A night to honour the sun *
Step onto working Devon farmland and let the season meet you. We’ll gather on a friend’s land, held by an open barn that looks out across a wide valley — a place where the sky feels close, the air changes as the light drops, and everything slows into something simpler.
This is an overnight Summer Solstice gathering for women: a woven arc of ceremony, seasonal yoga, tea, firelight, and a sunrise rite. You’ll arrive in the afternoon, pitch your tent, and settle into the rhythm of the land together. As the day turns towards golden hour, we’ll open the space together with a lush solstice altar, and a gentle threshold crossing — a moment to arrive, to be seen, and to begin.
From there the evening unfolds in a steady flow:
Opening ceremony
Litha season wisdom yoga (solar plexus focus: warmth, self-trust, healthy confidence)
A shared BBQ dinner
A Litha tea ceremony in small circles — grounding, devotional, and heart-warming
A fire circle for blessings, stories, marshmallows, and the simple joy of being outside together
Optional woodland stargazing if the night is clear
And in the early hours, we’ll meet again for a quiet sunrise rite — to welcome first light and seal what was opened the night before. The view offers a 360 degree panoramic view of the valley. It is stunning, and you will feel on top of the world.
Adults only
This gathering is 16+ event only and is not suitable for children. Thank you for understanding — this is a working farm setting and we’re keeping the gathering safe and devotional to those attending.
The setting (please read)
This gathering is hosted on a working farm. It is not retreat-chic — it’s real land, open sky, and beautiful simplicity. Facilities are basic: one outdoor loo, no showers, and you’ll camp in your own tent. The barn will be our undercover base, with an outdoor kitchen set-up for tea and food. Please come prepared for warmth, weather, and comfort. The event is weather dependant as we would be out in the elements.
What’s included
What to bring
A full kit list will be sent after booking, including camping essentials, warm layers, headtorch, and anything you need to be comfortable. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic drinks to enjoy respectfully later in the evening around the fire — I won’t be providing alcohol, and clear ground rules will be shared.
Places are limited to keep the circle intimate.
“I loved attending Mel's equinox event.
She instantly puts you at ease and makes every woman there included and welcome. The attention to detail is second to none, from locally sourced pampas grass to homemade dried rose petals every single thing is uniquely crafted into part of the days experience.
I left feeling like my walls had been broken down and the women surrounding me helped rebuild. I left feeling empowered, relaxed and blissful.”
